1. What did you learn about portraiture from going to the duck pond?
I learned that finding the perfect lighting is extremely hard even if your out on a sunny day. 2. What is the thing that you used to decide on your poses? Was it helpful or no? We used the template that Mrs. Moncure gave us and just randomly chose the posses. This was really helpful because if we didn't have it we would have taken a lot longer to get the pictures. 3. How did you use the reflector? Was it useful or not? What did it make the model look like? We used the reflector to get rid of any shadows that the spot we chose for the picture put upon our model. It was really useful in order to get the perfect picture. It made the model look lighter and more defined because of the way the light hit them. 4. What specifically did you do to retouch the photograph? I used the video that Mrs. Moncure gave us and followed step by step. 5. Research- what are some positions that use portrait photography? Who hires them? What is the salary range? What is the average charge for taking someone's portrait photographs? Commercial photography is a great way to get your career started. Entry level portrait photographers make between $8.00-$10.00/Hr. You should be charging about $100 per image due to all the task one must do before handing in the final product. Anyone in need of portraits can and will hire you.
