1. What does mandala mean, in your own words?
Mandala means a mixture of pictures all put into one. 2. How you created the mandala- be specific, not just "I followed the instructions from Mrs. Moncure." I took a picture of something i liked then i got the circle layout and with the wand tool selected a section of it and then put it on my picture to select the part that i wanted to use. After that i brought it over and rotated and flipped it in order to make out the full circle. I then duplicated the circle image and made it smaller several times in order to create a pattern. 3. What did you like about this? What was your favorite image? My favorite image was the one that looks like fire, even though it only is part of the water fountain with water coming out of it. 4. What did you struggle with? Figuring out how to flip and rotate it was hard. 5. If you had to do it over again, what would you do differently? I would rematch the tutorial more than once. 1. What does tessellation mean, in your own words?
The repetition of a single image in small square formats to form something else. 2. How you created the tessellation- be specific, not just "I followed the instructions from Mrs. Moncure." I chose a picture that i took and liked then re-sized it to a very small size and put it on a formatted layout of small squares to from a bigger image using the small one. 3. What did you like about this? What was your favorite image? My favorite image was the one with the mushrooms because i liked the way it turned out because it kind of looks like a print pattern or something similar. 4. What did you struggle with? I did not struggle everything was very easy. 5. If you had to do it over again, what would you do differently? I would figure out a way to do it faster. |
