We had to cover all the windows to have the room completely blacked out. We then set up our camera's on tripods on top of our desk. We also had glow sticks, light painting apps on our phones (My Light Painting) and the flash on our phones. We set our camera on shutter priority and set it on 6 seconds. My partner made a design using glow sticks meanwhile the camera shutter was going off, that is how the final image was captured.
A major struggle was having to move the lights in the correct pattern in order to have the final image look good. Also capturing the whole design in time. The most important things to remember for this project, completely dark room, Shutter priority and good prompts for the lights. A couple of other ideas for this project could be using sparklers or fiery wool on a string.
